Retired Balinese

Retired breeders and young adults who have not been used in the breeding program make wonderful pets, but sometimes require just the right placement. Some cats need to be in "only cat" placements. Other cats are appropriately placed with a kitten when the family decides that they want two cats, but can't afford two high end kittens.

Most cats adjust in time to their new homes, but if the placement does work out, they can come back to the cat ranch.

Blue point Balinese Variant (Siamese), spayed.

Mimi did well in the show ring as a Siamese kitten, then was added to the breeding colony in hopes of our being able to retire her mother Leonora. Mimi's pedigree

Ch Sehnsational Beatrice,
Blue point Balinese.
Beatrice earned her Champion title at the December 2006 Coatimondi Cat Show in Tucson, recently spayed.

Sometimes we just have to decide to alter a cat, not because she isn't good, but because the size of the cattery will grow beyond our being able to manage it. So our lovely young Beatrice was spayed this spring and is available as a pet for the right home.

SEHNSATIONAL Leonora
Violet lynx-point Balinese variant (Siamese), spayed.

Leonora was the only kitten in Violetta's second mating to 2Slick. I was expecting babies, but fell asleep with Violetta cuddling with me in bed, only to be awakened about 2:00 am to the mouse-like squealing of a new baby. Violetta was licking and cleaning her, and accidently chewed off the end of her tail! Leonora is the only "bob-tailed" Balinese I know! Leonora's pedigree

Leonora is very much an alpha girl, but is very loving and will make a great pet in an only cat situation.
